Debbie Hubbard

Mrs. Debbie Levette Hubbard (Hawkins) passed away at 53 in her home in Grenada, MS on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

Born April 8, 1968, in Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. She is survived by her mother, Louise Hawkins, but not her father Benjamin Franklin Hawkins Sr. or her brothers Harry Hawkins and Dexter Hawkins.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Patrick Hubbard and only 2 of her siblings, Gloria Loggins (Eargar) and Benjamin Franklin Hawkins Jr. her three children, Torey Hubbard, Cody Hubbard, and Taryn Hubbard Woods, Asier Hubbard, and Liberty Joi Hubbard of whom she often provided childcare.

Debbie was not only a loving mother and sister, but she was also a published author of a children's book about bullying. She was also a very active participant in her church, Bethel. She served as the Director of Membership Services, as a Deaconess, as a Children's teacher, volunteer for Bethel Summer Feeding Program, Member of the Sanctuary Choir as a member of the finance department and as an Usher. Debbie Hubbard has always been loved and cherished, but now she will always be remembered and deeply missed.
