Annie B. Gooch

Annie Louise Benson Gooch was born in Water Valley, Mississippi, on April 28, 1949, to the late Watt and Dora Benson. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

She accepted Christ as an early age and was a member of Springhill North, Annie was a graduate of the class of 1968 at Davidson Water Valley High School.

She was employed by Borg Warner and after thirty plus years she finally retired. She loved her job and the people she worked with.

Annie enjoyed cooking and watching TV, Especially, Lifetime Network and a good ole western. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is preceded in death by both parents: Watt and Dora Benson son; Eric Gooch, siblings; Mary Webb, Onnie Benson, Willie Walkins, Cordia Luster, Y.C. Benson, Katherine Benson, Lee Richard, Willie B. Watkins, James and Johnny C. Robinson.

Annie leaves to cherish her precious memories: four daughters; Valerie Gooch of Water Valley, MS,  Marsha Stanford of Memphis, TN, Monica (Cory) Booker of Coffeeville, MS and Shenita (Ralph) Horton of Coffeeville, MS, three sons; Marcus, Anthony and Roy Gooch all of Water Valley, MS, one brother; Odell Benson, one sister; Betty (Major) Pearson of Oxford, MS, twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
